One of the biggest changes at The Gizmo Grotto over the past year isn't just what we're printing. It's what we're building.
Many people know us for custom 3D printing, but they don't always realize we also stock a growing selection of electronic components like resistors, diodes, motors, LED strips, ESP32 microcontrollers, and more. If we don't have exactly what you need, we're happy to order it for you.
Lately we've been combining additive manufacturing with electronics to create projects that are more interactive, more functional, and capable of doing things a simple print never could. From illuminated displays and moving mechanisms to custom prototypes and automated projects, we're continuing to expand what's possible.
If you've had an idea involving electronics but weren't sure where to start, or wondered if it could even be built, come talk to us. Some of our favorite projects begin with someone saying, "I don't know if this is possible..."
We're also continuing our e-waste initiative. We collect electronics to keep harmful materials out of local landfills while giving usable components a second life through our nonprofit supporting future makers and learners. Bring e-waste by or contact us if you need a pickup.
